Anyone who knows me knows that I lead a very uncluttered life. I don’t like to spend a lot of time cleaning, so we don’t have a lot of clutter in our home. So, when I like “stuff” it’s rare. Here is a list of things I like, in no particular order. Also, notice there is no rhyme or reason to this list, because I don’t think with any type of rhyme or reason! Perhaps, if you are as…er…eclectic…as I am, this list may be of some value to you. Otherwise, it is just a reflection of my weirdness. Either way, here it is!

Simple. Healthy. Tasty. A great blog, and right now, if you sign up for email updates, you can get a free e-book on healthy, whole foods food storage. I downloaded the book and thought it had some great tips. There are some really yummy recipes on this blog.
Sterlite Ultra Basket with Titanium Inserts. I use these for underwear in closets, various pantry items, and I also use them to organize plastic dishes so my little ones can get them out and put them away (ie, a basket of plastic plates, a basket of plastic cups in a cabinet under the counter that the kids can reach)…I use them in my storage closet, bathrooms…These baskets make everything feel very tidy. Can’t live without them. Well, maybe I could, but not neatly.
Bubble and Bee’s Pit Putty. We are really, really careful with what we put on our skin in our family. We don’t really wear make up, or use perfume, or perfumed lotions. We definitely don’t want to use regular deodorants. I have tried several different types of organic, healthy deodorants, but the only one I can say I truly feel happy with is Pit Putty. I didn’t try it for a long time because I the name ‘pit putty’ isn’t cute to me. But, I finally relented and all I can say is WOW! Odor and wetness–GONE. It’s awesome, so unlike other natural deodorants I have tried.
Hydrochic. Quite possibly the most wonderful swim OUTFITS, skirts, tops, shorts and PANTS in the world. They also carry plus sizes, which is really nice, because round people like to swim, too. Girls4Sport and Land’s End are also great places to find good coverage in the pool.
Logitech Rechargeable Speaker for iPod and iPhone. At $109, plus a rebate, this is a great deal. Although I was wary at first that it would not deliver good bass sound, I was not disappointed. It’s a great speaker system for regular people who just want to listen to music at a normal decibel level. I also like that it’s rechargeable, so you can unplug it for a while and it will still play. It charges your iPod while it’s playing, too. I was impressed with the sound, even if it’s turned up for a normal party (not a crazy rager or anything). I would like to get another one.
eShakti. Great customer service so far. We have ordered several skirts and dresses from here, and they are fabulous. These are custom made dresses, skirts, and blouses, where you get to choose how high you want the neckline, what style, and how long you want sleeves and lengths. If you don’t see the neckline or length you are looking for, just call and they will add it to the site right there for you. The prices are extremely reasonable for a tailor made outfit. Highly recommended.
Wrangler’s Junior Jet Mid-Rise Vented Boot Cut Jean. The best riding jeans I have found for my daughters…but they are awesome even if you are not on horseback. Very, very comfy. The no gap stretch waistband is comfortable and modest, and they are not LOW RISE! Hooray for these awesome jeans.
Maped Classic Pencil Sharpeners. These actually work. They are metal, although at public school they might be considered weapons, I don’t know. Even the younger kids can get their pencils sharpened without help from me using this sharpener.
Etymologic! I love studying words, so this game is great fun for me. It’s a never ending quiz on the origin of words. It’s really addictive for nerdy people like me. (Jen, I am talking to you, too…you’ll love this game.)
